With just 14 rooms, Aspiring Motel provides cosy, personal and high quality lodge-style accommodation with panoramic mountain views.
With modern facilities and warm wood decor throughout, private balconies give our upstairs units an alpine chalet feel and fantastic views of the mountains and lake, while our downstairs rooms offer a sunny courtyard to soak up the afternoon sun.

Aspiring Motel really is the perfect location! We’re a one minute walk from New World Wānaka, two minutes to Lake Wānaka and the beach, and a beautiful 15 minute stroll around the lake to the famous Wānaka Tree.
Find yourself tramping in Mount Aspiring National Park or skiing at the Cardrona or Treble Cone ski fields in just 30 minutes, or enjoy a day’s shopping in Queenstown, an hour’s drive away.
